The COMET features interactive Gain and Volume controls, passive tone shaping, footswitchable Gain Boost, valve-driven long spring Reverb circuit and power amp Focus control. The output stage employs a duet of 6V6 pentodes, grid biased for maximum power and exceptional tone, while a solid state rectifier ensures a fast attack and ultimate reliability.
